Product Description

Made of 100% cotton handwoven Guatemalan fabric, the Ellaroo Wrap has that just-right stretch, to form around you and baby, without being bouncy. We currently have these gorgeous fabric choices, woven for Ellaroo by a cooperative of weavers in Guatemala.

The Ellaroo Wrap is lightweight and easy to manipulate, compared to thicker wraparound baby carriers. For parents in warm climates, this means the Wrap is cool and breathable. For parents in cold climates, this means that it can be used under a winter jacket without making you feel (and look) like a polar bear.

The simplicity of design make this the most versatile baby carrier you can find. You can carry your child from birth through the toddler years, on the front or back.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR ELLAROO WRAP

Wash your Ellaroo Wrap in cold water, gentle cycle, with mild detergent. Hang in a well-ventilated area to dry overnight. The fabric is 100% cotton, and will soften with use.

The Wrap is not pre-washed. The extra dye will bleed from the fabric the first few times it is washed. Please wash separately, and rinse thoroughly (washing machines are easiest, on gentle cycle, although it can be done by hand). Do not let the Wrap sit in the water for more than a few minutes, as the extra dye may affect the lighter colors in the Wrap.

We previously suggested using a bit of vinegar and salt to help with the initial washing process. However, after extensive testing in the Ellaroo laboratories, we have decided that the true key to breaking in your Ellaroo Wrap is in the rinsing stage, rather than any additives to the rinse. So rinse, rinse, rinse! And you're set.
