Ring Slings are worn similarly to a pouch, but are adjustable and come in 2 general styles — padded and unpadded. In addition to front and hip positions, an older baby or toddler may also be worn on the back.
Padded ring slingsmay provide additional shoulder comfort for the wearer and head support or leg padding for your baby, but the padding can be difficult to pull through the rings if the sling is too big for the wearer.
Unpadded ring slingsare far more adjustable as there is nothing to prevent the fabric easily moving through the rings. The correct size is less important for an unpadded sling which can be of benefit to couples who are quite different sizes.
